Shares of Century Enka rallied 8 per cent to Rs 615 in Tuesday's intra-day trade, extending its past four days up move on the BSE.

Shares of Century Enka hit a record high of Rs 863.90, as they surged 12% on the BSE in Wednesday's intra-day trade in an otherwise range-bound market.

Last month, the board had approved Rs 263 crore capex plan to have necessary assets for upcoming business opportunities

The stock surged 15% to Rs 414, also its 52-week high on BSE in otherwise weak market.
