December GST Collections

December 2024 GST reflects a 7.3% increase compared to the Rs 1.65 trillion collected in December 2023. However, they remain below the Rs 2.1 trillion peak recorded in April 2024

This marks the seventh month so far this financial year with collections exceeding Rs 1.6 trillion

The GST collections for December 2022 stood at Rs 1.49 trn-- 2.5 per cent more than Rs 1.45 trn collected in November 2022, according to figures released by the Finance Ministry on Sunday

Only Uttar Pradesh and Telangana witnessed a growth rate of less than 14 per cent

Compensation released to states for August-September stood at Rs 11,922 crore

Total collections under GST in November had slipped for the second straight month to Rs 808.08 bn
