HeidelbergCement India Ltd on Thursday reported an 83.5 per cent decline in net profit to Rs 5.19 crore for the third quarter ended December 2024 due to lower volume and prices. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 31.47 crore in the October-December quarter a year ago, HeidelbergCement India said in a regulatory filing. Its revenue from operations declined 10.6 per cent to Rs 542.82 crore during the December quarter. It was at Rs 607.13 crore a year ago. During the quarter, HeidelbergCement's "EBITDA per tonne decreased to Rs 291, a decrease of 46.3 per cent due to lower volume and prices". Similarly, its revenue was also down "due to a decrease in volume by 5.3 per cent and price by 5.6 per cent," the company said in its earning statement. HeidelbergCement India Ltd on Monday reported a 68.68 per cent decline in net profit to Rs 11.21 crore for the second quarter ended September 2024. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 35.8 crore in the July-September quarter period a year ago, HeidelbergCement India said in a regulatory filing. Its revenue from operations was down 18.54 per cent to Rs 461.41 crore during the second quarter of the ongoing fiscal year from Rs 566.46 crore a year ago. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 5.58 crore in the year-ago period, HeidelbergCement India said in a regulatory filing. Its total revenue from operations was up 12.4 per cent to Rs 607.13 crore in the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal. It was Rs 540.12 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. "Revenue increased 12 per cent compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year, driven by 10 per cent volume growth and 2 per cent price increase," the company said in an earning statement. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 7.01 crore in the July-September quarter period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing from HeidelbergCement India.
