HeidelbergCement India Ltd on Thursday reported an 83.5 per cent decline in net profit to Rs 5.19 crore for the third quarter ended December 2024 due to lower volume and prices. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 31.47 crore in the October-December quarter a year ago, HeidelbergCement India said in a regulatory filing. Its revenue from operations declined 10.6 per cent to Rs 542.82 crore during the December quarter. It was at Rs 607.13 crore a year ago. During the quarter, HeidelbergCement's "EBITDA per tonne decreased to Rs 291, a decrease of 46.3 per cent due to lower volume and prices". Similarly, its revenue was also down "due to a decrease in volume by 5.3 per cent and price by 5.6 per cent," the company said in its earning statement. HeidelbergCement India Ltd on Monday reported a 68.68 per cent decline in net profit to Rs 11.21 crore for the second quarter ended September 2024. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 35.8 crore in the July-September quarter period a year ago, HeidelbergCement India said in a regulatory filing. Its revenue from operations was down 18.54 per cent to Rs 461.41 crore during the second quarter of the ongoing fiscal year from Rs 566.46 crore a year ago. HeidelbergCement "revenue decreased by 18.5 per cent y/y driven by 15 per cent decrease in volume and decrease in price 4 per cent", the company said in its earning statement. HeidelbergCement India Ltd on Wednesday reported an increase in net profit to Rs 31.47 crore for the December quarter, aided by reduction in operating costs. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 5.58 crore in the year-ago period, HeidelbergCement India said in a regulatory filing. Its total revenue from operations was up 12.4 per cent to Rs 607.13 crore in the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal. It was Rs 540.12 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. "Revenue increased 12 per cent compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year, driven by 10 per cent volume growth and 2 per cent price increase," the company said in an earning statement. HeidelbergCement India Ltd on Monday reported over a five-fold increase in its net profit at Rs 35.8 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2023. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 7.01 crore in the July-September quarter period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing from HeidelbergCement India. Its total revenue from operation was up 11.93 per cent to Rs 566.46 crore during the quarter under review. It was Rs 506.05 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. HeidelbergCement India on Tuesday reported a marginal rise of 1.37 per cent in net profit at Rs 52.32 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, amid easing fuel price and packaging cost. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 51.61 crore in the April-June quarter a year ago, HeidelbergCement India said in a regulatory filing. Its total revenue from operation rose marginally to Rs 595.64 crore during the quarter under review. It was Rs 589.89 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. "On a per tonne basis, total operating cost including freight, decreased by 6 per cent y-o-y primarily due to a decrease in fuel prices and packaging cost," HeidelbergCement said in its earnings statement.
