The meeting at the Zero point, where the Indian and Pakistani side of the proposed corridor converge, was attended by 15 officials from each side

Pakistan expelled Indian High Commissioner Ajay Bisaria and downgraded the diplomatic ties with India over what it called New Delhi's "unilateral and illegal" move to revoke the special status of J&K

It is also learnt that Khan congratulated Modi on his election victory during their first face-to-face interaction

MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said the latest brutal killings of Indian security personnel in J&K and Pak's decision to glorify terrorism showed that it won't mend its ways

He also raked up the Kashmir issue, calling it an unfinished agenda of partition and the main cause of regional tension
