Two foreigners were injured while trying to escape by jumping from the hotel balcony, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid wrote on Twitter

The attack ended after more than 12 hours Sunday with all six militants killed by Afghan forces, aided by Norwegian troops

The incident occurred late on Saturday when gunmen burst into the heavily guarded hotel, located atop a hill in the west of the Afghan capital
