Initially, few apps voluntarily delisted themselves in accordance with the government's order but now Google and Apple have blocked access to all other apps too

The order came after the government this week banned several Chinese apps including ByteDance's TikTok, Alibaba's UC News and Tencent's WeChat citing "threat to sovereignty and integrity.
The bloody clash between Indian and Chinese troops in Ladakh last week has sparked a popular demand for the shunning of Chinese products, ranging from apps to mobile phones.
Apart from the boycott campaign, Indian intelligence agencies have red-flagged usage of over 50 China-linked apps as being a threat to national security.
