A Chinese battery management app called BAT-BMS has come under scrutiny after viral videos showed people remotely switching off e-rickshaws using Bluetooth, raising serious safety concerns. The app, developed by Shenzhen Grenergy Technology, has since been removed from Google Play Store and Apple's App Store following a government probe. However, the controversy highlighted growing concerns over cybersecurity in India's electric vehicle ecosystem.
