AI Express withdraws seat selection fee
AIr India Expressed informed agents on Monday it will charge for pre-selection of all seats including middle row seats
Aneesh Phadnis Mumbai Air India Express has withdrawn the fee for pre-selection of seats barely a day after it implementing it.
"We have put it on hold. We are reviewing the decision," a senior Air India Express official said. He denied there was any instruction from civil aviation ministry to withdraw the fee.

The latest decision means passengers will not have to pay for any of the seats
IndiGo too has withdrawn the fee for middle row seats following adverse public reaction.
