AkzoNobel appoints Amit Jain as MD for its India operation

Paint manufacturer AkzoNobel today said it has appointed Amit Jain as Managing Director for its operations in India and Sri Lanka.   

Prior to this appointment, Amit Jain was working as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of MTV Asia.

AkzoNobel operates in India through its subsidiary ICI India Ltd and markets its products under the brand Dulux.

"We have ambitious plans for the Indian market and we are delighted to welcome Amit to AkzoNobel.

His multi-dimensional experience will allow us to redefine our Indian business, both in terms of vision and scale, as well as taking it to the next level," AkzoNobel Board Member Tex Gunning said while commenting on Jain's appointment.
