Business conglomerate Godrej Industries Ltd on Tuesday reported an 81 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 322.49 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024, on higher income.
Its net profit stood at Rs 178.06 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income increased to Rs 5,259.41 crore in the April-June period of 2024-25 fiscal, from Rs 4,893.40 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.

On business performance of its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associate companies, Godrej Industries said the consolidated sales of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) stood at Rs 3,311 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal.
Godrej Properties' total Income grew to Rs 1,638 crore in April-June period of this fiscal, from Rs 1,315 crore in the year-ago period.

Patel Engineering Ltd on Tuesday reported a 25.81 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 48.17 crore in the April-June quarter of 2024.
It had posted a Rs 38.29 crore net profit from operations during the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company's revenue from operations declined by 1.52 per cent to Rs 1,101.66 crore in the June quarter.
It was at Rs 1,118.61 crore in the year-ago period.

Realty firm Lodha Developers Ltd aims for a 2.5 times jump in its annual net profit to over Rs 8,500 crore by the 2030-31 fiscal year as it remains bullish on demand for homes and commercial properties.
In a conference call with analysts, Lodha Developers MD and CEO Abhishek Lodha highlighted the company's strong growth since listing on stock exchanges in April 2021.
"In fiscal '21, which was the peak of COVID, we did Rs 60 billion of pre-sales. In FY26, we did Rs 205 billion, a 28 per cent CAGR (compounded annual growth rate)," Abhishek said.
More importantly, he added, the PAT (profit after tax) has grown more than 6 times over the same period, touching Rs 3,430 crore this year with a 20 per cent margin.
"Over the medium term, our goal is focused on 20 per cent CAGR in PAT and therefore, moving from about Rs 34 billion for fiscal '26 to more than Rs 85 billion by fiscal '31," said Abhishek, according to a transcript uploaded on stock exchanges.

Infrastructure company Ceigall India Ltd on Sunday said its joint venture CILSAM India has bagged a Rs 918.04-crore project from Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd for design and construction works.
The contract awarded to CIL-SAM involves the design and construction of an elevated viaduct and ten elevated metro stations (excluding architectural finishing) under Jaipur Metro's Phase-II expansion covering 10.8 km, Ceigall India said in a statement.
Ceigall India holds a 74 per cent stake in CIL-SAM, while the remaining 26 per cent is owned by SAM India Builtwell Pvt Ltd.
The total bid cost of the project stands at Rs 918.04 crore (inclusive of 18 per cent GST), with an execution timeline of 34 months, it stated.
The ten stations to be constructed under the package are Prahladpura, Manpura, Bilwa Kalan, Bilwa, Goner Mod, Sitapura, JECC, Kumbha Marg, Haldighati Gate, and Pinjrapole Gaushala.

Radisson Hotel Group expects to scale up its India portfolio to 157-160 operational hotels and 19,000-19,500 keys by December 2026, driven by a steady pipeline and continued expansion across markets, a top company executive said.
Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, South Asia, told PTI that the Group remains "very much on track" to achieve its target of 500 hotels in India by 2030.
"We are at 17,000 keys in operation currently. With 18 more hotels set to open this year, we are adding between 2,000 and 2,500 keys," Sharma said.

The country's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki India, has started the new fiscal 2026-27 with a 42 per cent market share, increasing from 39 per cent in the previous fiscal.
According to industry estimates, the company, which posted a record domestic sales of 1,91,122 units in April, gained nearly 3 percentage points in market share the month.
Maruti Suzuki India Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Partho Banerjee, told PTI that although the company's increase in market share has been led by its passenger cars, SUVs have also made a significant contribution.
"We started the new fiscal with a bang in April with record sales and also gained market share," he said.
The company's previous highest domestic sales were in December 2025 at 1,82,165 units.
Its passenger car sales were at 96,725 units in April this year as against 68,244 units in the same month last year.
