"We are targeting turnover of up to Rs 400 crore in the next calender year. Going forward, we plan to launch a new television range with attractive features," AOC India Director Sales Saurabh Grover told PTI.
TPV Technology, headquartered in Taiwan reported a turnover of $5.5 billion in the first half of 2013.

AOC is eyeing a turnover of Rs 250 crore in the current year from the television business. It reported turnover of Rs 140 crore last year.
The company has also doubled its marketing budget for the television business to Rs 80 crore for next year as against Rs 40 crore earmarked for 2013.
AOC, at present sells 12 models of LED TVs in India in the price range of Rs 7,000 to Rs 70,000.
AOC today launched a 23 inch full HD 3D TV priced at Rs 19,990. "We hope to enhance sales from tier II and tier III cities. This TV is an attractive opportunity for those looking at upgrading their TVs to newer technology," Grover added.
At present, the company imports all television sets from the parent company's plant in China.
Grover said the company may look at setting up its own manufacturing plant in India by the end of next year depending upon the demand and government policies.
