Aspri Spirits ties up with SA's Nederburg Wines

Wine distributor Aspri Spirits Pvt Ltd has tied up with South Africa's leading wine maker "Nederburg Wines" and Chile's "Ventisquero Vineyards" for distribution of premium range of wine across India.

While Nederburg Wines enjoys more than 40 per cent share in South African market, Ventisquero Vineyard is considered to be the most prominent player in Chile's premium wine segment.

Produced by Distell Group in South Africa, Nederburg Wines cater to premium customers in South Africa.

The tie-up allows Aspri Spirits to distribute three varieties of Nederburg Wines in India namely Shiraz, Pinotage and Sauvignon Blanc, a press release issued by Aspri Spirits said.

Chile-based Ventisquero Vineyards has been a premium wine brand in Chile. It has a sales and dirtibutuion network in a number of South American and European countries. The wines come in reserve and grey range. Both ranges have Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot types, a press release issued said. The wines would be available in ket cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Haryana and Rajasthan.

As a distributor, Aspri Spirts will utilise its sales network to promote these wines across the country.

While Nerderburg Wines have already hit Indian wine shops, the wine from Chile are expected to be available in another two week's time, the company said.

It also plans to bring a number of wines produced in African and Souith American countries over next 18 months, it was stated.
