Bajaj’s new offering in the 100cc segment, the Discover DTS-Si, has sold a record 1,00,000 numbers in first 50 days of its launch.
It has set a new volume benchmark for any bike launch in this country. The company has already ramped up the production to range of 80,000 with the help of its Pantnagar capacity to meet the overwhelming demand during the festive season.
The super-fuel-efficient bike gives an on-road, mileage of 80 km/litre on account of the ‘Digital Twin Spark - Swirl induction’ version 2.0 engine series that powers the bike.
S. Sridhar, CEO-2 Wheelers at Bajaj said, “We have been overwhelmed with the response, in fact we are already facing a stock out situation in some dealerships. The above can be mainly attributed to the positive word of mouth from the customers and the extremely favorable reviews and accolades from the industry experts.”
