Casio India launches range of mercury-free projectors

Casio India Company has launched a range of mercury-free projectors for corporates and educational institutes in the country.

Casio projectors like Slim Series, Standard Series, Pro Series and Short Throw Series models are priced between Rs 89,995 and Rs 1,67,995.

"Our new line will provide customers with all the advantages of Casio's unique LASER & LED Hybrid Light Source plus superior brightness, an energy-saving interactive experience," Casio India Company Vice President Kulbhushan Seth said in a statement.

Casio India is an arm of the Japanese consumer electronics giant Casio Computer.

New solutions are designed for the business, education, Pro AV, digital signage and home entertainment markets, he added.

The company has also launched 72-inch portable interactive White Board at a price of Rs 69,995. The new interactive White Board can be easily installed without cables or additional hardware as it is basically a magnetic board, the statement said.

"Understanding the need for advanced technology on a limited budget, new age projectors are developed," the company said, adding these projectors are mercury free and reduce the carbon imprint.

The company has also launched a dual projection system XJ-SK600 - at a price of Rs 3,29,995, especially for the advertisement segment.

Casio India markets CASIO products in India manufactured by its Japanese parent company.
