Thanks to the Competition Commission of India (CCI), Anjaana Anjaani, the Hindi movie starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, will be screened in theaters across the country as scheduled from tomorrow. In a late night interim ruling, CCI thwarted the attempts of some film trade associations to block its release in Bihar, Jharkhand, Kerala and parts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan over unresolved issues the associations have with movie distributor Eros International. The CCI will initiate an investigation, but the movie will be screened without disruption, it is learnt.
