Chargebee partners with Worldpay to provide global subscription payments

Chargebee, an online subscription and recurring billing management solutions provider, today announced its partnership with Worldpay, a payment processing firm, to offer a new integrated payments solution for subscription billing.

This collaboration would allow Chargebee customers to benefit from Worldpay's e-commerce solutions combining access to pure cloud-based SaaS billing and global payment processing, said Chargebee.

"Our partnership with Worldpay will allow companies to streamline their billing and payment services, providing enhanced efficiency and helping to drive results for their business. Together with Worldpay, we offer innovative solutions in two critical areas - subscription billing and recurring payment processing - for businesses of any size and industry," Krish Subramanian, Co-founder and CEO of Chargebee said in a release.

Kevin Dallas, Chief Product and Marketing Officer, Global eCommerce at Worldpay added that recurring payments and subscription models are becoming more popular, as consumers are adapting their consumption habits to pay only for those items and services they wish to use.

"Our partnership with Chargebee is a natural synergy, which delivers choice, value and peace of mind to companies using subscription billing, or those looking to adopt this model to help them grow globally," he said.

Freshdesk, a cloud-based customer support software provider, is the first enterprise customer to benefit from the new pre-built integration, which has enabled the company to reach a broader client base by offering multi-currency payments to its customers around the world.
