The condition of Satyam Computers founder B Ramalinga Raju was stable today after he was admitted to NIMS hospital following a massive heart attack.
"The condition of Ramalinga Raju was stable, but he still needs few days medical management," a hospital official said.
Raju, who was initially attended by jail doctors, was shifted to the Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) hospital last night following complaint of chest pain.
After preliminary examination, he was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital for further test and treatment.
Raju is lodged in Chanchalguda jail where he is under judicial custody on criminal charges including fraud, forgery, cheating, embezzlement and insider trading.
He was arrested on January nine in connection with multi-crore Satyam fraud case and is in the jail along with his brother and Satyam's former managing director Rama Raju and others.
