Ruia's promoted Dunlop India today agreed to offer a 10 per cent hike in gross wage to 1007 employees of Sahaganj unit from April 1, a top company official said.
Dunlop Chairman Pawan Ruia after meeting the state labour minister Anadi Sahu at Writer's Buildings said, "All employees of Sahaganj will get a wage hike of 10 per cent from April."
"Wage hike offered by the company is as per the earlier agreement of 2006. The company will also clear the Employees Retirement Scheme (ERS) dues of 436 employees from April," he said.
The company will begin clearing ERS dues of 50 employees per month and it will take around nine months to clear the dues of all such employees, he said.
