Elecon Engineering today said its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 31, declined by 24.54 per cent to Rs 12.51 crore.
The company had a net profit of Rs 16.58 crore in the same quarter FY2008, Elecon Engineering said in a filing to the Bombay stock Exchange.
Total income of the company rose to Rs 246.66 crore for the quarter under review, against Rs 187.10 crore in the corresponding period last year.
For the nine month ended December 31, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 40.46 crore, against Rs 44.22 crore in the same period last year.
