Era Infra Engineering today said its net profit grew by 11.68 per cent at Rs 30.87 crore in the third quarter of current fiscal compared to the corresponding period a year ago.
The company had a net profit of Rs 27.64 crore in third quarter last fiscal, Era Infra Engineering said in a statement.
Net income of the infrastructure developer rose to Rs 614.04 crore in December quarter of FY'09 from Rs 335.11 crore of the same quarter last year.
For the nine-month period ended December, Era Infra registered a net profit of Rs 94.94 crore, a 32 per cent growth compared to Rs 84.61 crore of the same period a year ago.
Shares of Era Infra Engineering today closed at Rs 71.90, down 2.71 per cent from its previous close on the National Stock Exchange.
