HCL Technologies' Brazilian arm expects to expand further through organic growth, acquisition and expansion of operations in Latin America. The company has already started expanding in Mexico and Argentina, said the company in an announcement to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
HCL's Latin American is expected to play a strategic role for the global growth of the company. The company plans to launch infrastructure services in Brazil by mid-May. This will be followed by HCL Axon's SAP solution in the second quarter and creation of a center of excellence for retail sector specific solutions, like Retek.
Currently, HCL has facilities in Sao Paulo, Rio and Sao Leopoldo in Brazil, Buenos Aires in Argentina and Mexico City, staffing over 150 employees.
