INX appoints Karan Thapar's ITV as advisor

INX News has signed up with Karan Thapar's company ITV (Infotainment Television) as editorial advisor for its soon-to-be launched English news channel NewsX.

The advisory services will comprise a review of progress to date and consultancy on future editorial development of the channel.

Established in 2001, ITV has done work for BBC, Channel News Asia, CNBC TV18, CNN-IBN and Doordarshan.

"ITV is delighted to accept a special project from NewsX to advise it on how to become one of the most exciting news channels available in India," Thapar said.
