Real estate consultant Jones Lang LaSalle Meghraj (JLLM) today said it has bagged a contract from IT major Wipro for managing the latter's 2.3 million sq ft of space in Bangalore, Mysore and Mumbai.
"Riding high on its recent successes with Indian corporates such as Max India Group and Lavasa (of HCC group), Jones Lang LaSalle's Integrated Facilities Management India team has won a facilities management contract with another Indian corporate giant – Wipro Technologies," JLLM said in a statement.
Wipro, the third largest IT exporter of the country, has appointed the JLLM's Facilities Management division to manage its 2.3 million sq ft portfolio spread across Bangalore, Mysore and Mumbai, it added.
"There is a vastly increasing demand for professional integrated facilities management services in India," JLLM's Integrated Facilities Management Managing Director Yash Kapila said.
With 2009 global revenue of $2.5 billion, Jones Lang LaSalle serves clients in 60 countries from 750 locations worldwide, including 180 corporate offices. The firm is an industry leader in property and corporate facility management services, with a portfolio of approximately 1.4 billion square feet worldwide.
