Kavveri Telecom Q4 net declines over 6%

On yearly basis, the company's consolidated net profit rose 25% to Rs 48 cr

Telecom equipment maker Kavveri Telecom Products today posted 6.83% decline in its standalone net profit at Rs 7.22 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 7.75 crore for the same quarter last year. The total revenue of the company, however, rose 13% to Rs 85.72 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 75.83 crore in the corresponding period previous year.

"We have completed a couple of acquisitions in the past year which has also reflected in our financial results. We look forward for new opportunities in the coming year which would drive the growth further," Kavveri Telecom Products Managing Director C Shivakumar Reddy reddy said.    

The company has acquired two companies last year for 20 million Euros, one each in Spain and Mexico.

In past five years, Kavveri Telecom has acquired six different radio frequency (RF) products and antennas manufacturing companies in North America, Spain and Mexico.

On yearly basis, the company's consolidated net profit rose 25% to Rs 48.44 crore for financial year 2011-12 as compared to Rs 38.87 crore last year.

The consolidated revenue of the company was up 47% to Rs 454.28 crore for financial year 2011-12 as compared to Rs 308.70 crore in the previous year.
