Consumer durable major LG Electronics India today said it has bagged the 'Excellence in Cost Management' award given by the Institute of Cost and Works Accounts of India (ICWAI).
"Efficiency, quality and optimum utilisation of resources has always been the core to our success and we appreciate the recognition from ICWAI," LG Electronics India Vice President (Finance, Accounting and Taxation) Hyun Chul Moon said in a statement.
ICWAI was instituted in 2003 to recognise those who make major contribution to resource management, efficient utilisation of capacity and working capital, quality augmentation programme, R&D and precise and transparent information on performance, the release said.
