Macmillan India to skip dividend for 2008

Publishing company Macmillan India will skip dividend for 2008 to conserve the resources in the present economically challenging environment, and make investments for securing growth. It also reconstituted board to comply with amended corporate governance norms.
The directors at the board meeting held on February 25, 2009 decided not to declare any dividend for year ended December 2008, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange today.
