Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mohali-based BGS Institute of Science and Management. Under the agreement, the institute will cater to the needs of those who are aiming to make a career in the automobile industry, especially with Maruti.
As Maruti’s first recognised automobile training and education institute for the northern region, BSG Institute will provide training and education to youth in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir and Chandigarh in various streams and develop soft skills with technical training as a part of the curriculum.
BGS Institute of Science and Management director Kulvinder Singh Bawa said MSIL had also introduced short duration programmes of different streams. All these courses will strengthen the employability of qualifying students.
