Hyderabad-based construction and infrastructure development company Maytas Infra Limited has bagged a project worth Rs 110 crore from the Southern Railway. The work involves doubling of the broad gauge track between Chengalpattu and Villupuram in Tamil Nadu. Maytas Infra will execute the project in joint venture with Chennai-based CT Ramanathan and Co in 18 months from the date of agreement.
“The project, when completed will aid Southern Railway significantly ease the traffic flow between Chengalpattu and Villupuram. We look forward to deliver this project on time,” VV Rama Raju, chief financial officer of Maytas Infra, stated in a press release on Tuesday.
