MDLR may start Shimla flight next month

MDLR Airlines is considering starting flights to the popular resort town of Shimla by the first week of next month, company sources said.

After Kingfisher, MDLR will become the second airline to operate flights to Shimla. Jagson airline used to earlier operate flights on this route but had now discontinued.

The MDLR flight will take off from Delhi in the morning and halt at Chandigarh. And then fly to Shimla in less than half an hour. It takes 3 to 4 hours to reach Shimla from Chandigarh by car.

MDLR is already operating flights to the Kullu valley in Himachal Pradesh.The flight tariffs to the proposed route of Shimla have not been finalised yet, the sources said.
