Mirc Electronics Q2 net up 3% at Rs 6 cr

Mirc Electronics, which sells the Onida brand of television, today posted a 3 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 5.84 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2010, over the same period last fiscal.

The company had a net profit of Rs 5.66 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2009, Mirc Electronics said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

During the period, net sales of the company stood at Rs 402.26 crore, a 3 per cent increase from Rs 391.85 crore recorded in the same quarter last fiscal.
