Nomura Services India today announced the appoint of two key officials.
The former head of Alliance Bernstein, which was selected by the US treasury department as one of the pre-qualified fund managers in its Public-Private Investment Program, Murali Subrahmanyam joined Nomura as Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer.
Prior to this, he was with Merrill Lynch (India) where he served as Chief Operating Officer for its Technology Services (MLITS) offshore centre.
Anita Yadav joined Nomura as the Managing Director and Head of Global Markets division. She has over 15 years of experience in capital markets and credit trading and was most recently with Deutsche Bank as a Desk Strategist and Head of Credit Research for Asia. Prior to this, Yadav has also worked with Standard & Poor’s, UBS and HSBC.
Announcing the appointments, RK Rangan, President & CEO, Nomura Services India, said: “I welcome Murali and Anita to Nomura Services India. Their invaluable experience and niche skill-set will further strengthen our team and increase our efficiency across the organization.”
