State-run power major National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) today said it would carry out projects of over 7,500 MW capacity in Madhya Pradesh in the next 5-6 years.
NTPC would construct three coal-based power projects at Bamitha, Gadarwara and Khargaone in the state.
"Studies are on and the detailed project report and feasibility report would be complete in next six months, and within one year we can start working on these projects," NTPC Chairman and Managing Director R S Sharma told PTI on the sidelines of a power conference here.
