Bangalore-based maker of medical diagnostic equipment, Opto Circuits (India) Ltd (OCI), today announced that its US-based subsidiary, Criticare Systems Inc (CSI), has forged a multi-year original equipment manufacturing contract with another US company to privately label its anaesthesia monitor for the US firm.

The agreement leverages CSI's anaesthesia gas monitoring technology in applications that involve the calibration and maintenance of anaesthesia equipment in some of the hospitals in the United States.

CSI is an international medical device company that develops, manufactures and markets patient monitoring and anaesthetic gas analysis products.

Opto Circuits acquired CSI in April 2008.
