The Orissa government today decided to constitute a high level official committee to work out the administrative re-structuring to give a boost to the development of the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the state.
It would be headed by the chief secretary, Tarunkaniti Mishra and would include principal secretary to the chief minister, finance secretary, industry secretary, textile and handlooms secretary, managing director of the Orissa State Financial Corporation (OSFC) and chairman-managing director (CMD) of the state owned Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Idco) as members.
The committee would hold discussions with the co-ordination committee of industries associations and submit its report within 3 months. The government would take a decision on the suggested measures after the committee submits its report.
