Software product development services provider Persistent Systems has appointed Sridhar Jagannathan as the company’s chief innovation officer.
Jagannathan, who holds a doctorate in engineering from University of California, was earlier heading technology and global engineering at Intuit as vice president. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director of Symantec's India Development Center for consumer products.
In his new role, Jagannathan will be based in Santa Clara, California and will report to Hari Haran, president of Persistent Systems.
“As enterprises begin to think of the next generation products, innovation will be a key differentiator, and Sridhar (Jagannathan) brings this essential focus to the table for Persistent and its customers,” said Balan in a statement.
