Principal Mutual Fund has announced the appointment of P V K Mohan as Senior Fund Manager– Equity.
Mohan has over 16 years experience in equity research and fund management. In his previous assignments he has worked with IL&FS and IL&FS Mutual Fund, DSP BlackRock Investment Managers and ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company. He has a degree in electrical engineering from REC, Calicut and a PGDM from IIM, Bangalore.
Welcoming him Rajat Jain, Chief Investment Officer said “I welcome Mohan on board and am confident that his addition will further strengthen our equity team and ensure that we continue to deliver strong equity performance.”
As on April 30, 2010 the average assets under management of Principal MF was around Rs 7,470 crore.
