The sixth additional chief metropolitan magistrate today extended the judicial custody of Satyam founder Ramalinga Raju, his brother Rama Raju, former Chief Financial Officer Srinivas Vadlamani and PW partners and auditors S Gopalakrishnan and T Srinivas by another 14 days to February 21 through a video conference.
Their judicial custody ended today. It was for fourth time that the judicial remand of Raju brothers and Vadlamani was extended after their arrest last month. Meanwhile, a second bail petition of S Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas was filed today. Earlier the court had rejected the bail application of the duo on February 3.
The three-day interrogation of the Raju brothers by the Securities & Exchange Board of India officials concluded yesterday. The PW auditors were also in police custody for two days last week.
