Rammohan Rao quits BEL board

After the resignation of T R Prasad from various boards of companies, including GMR Infrastructure, Delhi International Airport, TVS Motors, it now appears that another independent director who was on the board of Satyam Computer Services, M Rammohan Rao has started to resign from other boards of companies.

Bangalore-based defence PSU, Bharat Electronics today announced that Rammohan Rao has resigned as independent director from its board.

This move by Rao follows apprehensions that various independent directors of Satyam may be interrogated for their role as independent directors on the board of Satyam.
