Reliance Cement Company (RCC), a subsidiary of Reliance Infrastructure, today announced foray in the online space to sell cement in Uttar Pradesh.

The cement e-tailing facility is now available in UP, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.

To provide superior service to customers, e-tailing is the latest Next-Gen customer friendly initiative, a Reliance Cement spokesperson said adding RCC is now amongst the first e-commerce cement companies in India.

The e-tailing facility is available for a minimum order of 25 bags to be delivered within 48 hours.

Reliance Cement is available in major cities of UP, MP, Maharashtra, Bihar and Jharkhand.

RCC is currently producing 5.5 million tones (MT) cement per annum from Maihar in MP (2.8 MT), Kundangunj near Lucknow (2.2 MT) and Butibori in Maharashtra (0.5 MT).

The company has an ambitious expansion plan to achieve a total manufacturing capacity of 15.5 MT over the coming years by completing two plants of 5 MT each at Maihar and Mukatban in Yavatmal district of Maharashtra.

For reliable fuel supply, the company had recently bagged Sial Ghoghri Coal Mine in an auction by the Centre. The mine is located in Chhindwara district of MP.
