ShepHertz was incorporated by Siddhartha Chandurkar in July 2010. It is stated to be one of the top three players globally in the mBaaS (Mobile Backend as a Service) space.

“In the last few quarters, ShepHertz' growth has been accelerating at a tremendous speed. We are lucky to have great investors on board who believe in our vision”, Chandurkar said.

According to him, over 75 per cent of ShepHertz customers are from geographies other than India, primarily from North America, Latin America and North East Asia. The platform processes more than 1 billion API calls a month, making it one of the most popular platform for app developers globally.

With the infusion of funds, Chandurkar said, ShepHertz plans to strengthen its US sales and marketing functions.

“ShepHertz is a company that is already seen as a mobility SaaS leader and is poised for great things under Sid’s leadership” Sashi Reddi stated.
