Satyam ends at upper circuit; Tech M gains 5%

The Satyam stock finally ended at its upper circuit at Rs 73.50 on the BSE. Around 1.3 million shares were traded as compared to its two-week daily average volumes of 26 million shares.

Shares of Tech Mahindra finally settled with a gains of 5.5% at Rs 785. Over 3.7 million shares were traded on the BSE as against its two-week daily average volumes of 1.1 million shares.

The Satyam Computer stock was trading at the upper circuit on the second consecutive day after it announced its results on Tuesday.

On both BSE and NSE, the stock was quoted at Rs 73.50, up 10%. Over 2 million Satyam shares had changed hands on both exchanges till 10:20am with an unfulfilled demand of over 40 million shares. 

Tech Mahindra today opened at Rs 771. The stock slipped to a low of 759 and zoomed to a high of Rs 849, up 14% from the previous day's close.

The stock has clocked hefty volumes of 1.18 million shares on the BSE as against the two-week daily average volumes of 826,245 shares. The scrip is currently trading at Rs 744, up 12.16%.
