Samudera Shipping Line Limited, Singapore, has gone live with the equipment control and transport management modules of city-based transportation and logistics software solutions provider Four Soft Limited’s shipping solution – 4S iShipping – to help manage and consolidate its shipping operations.
The project, internally named as ‘EMAS’ by Samudera, is designed specifically to meet the company's business requirement in managing their day-to-day container operations. The application has been rolled out into several countries including Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, UAE and Hong Kong.
“EMAS currently manages more than 18,000 units of containers with approximately 3 million equipment activities, which have been registered and tracked till date,” the company said in a filing to the BSE on Wednesday.
4S iShipping is Four Soft’s international shipping solutions designed for liner shipping companies, their agents and non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) operators.
Four Soft's scrip is currently trading at R 28.10 on the BSE, up 19.83 per cent as against the previous close of Rs 23.45.
