Sterlite Technologies today said that it has received three contracts valued at Rs 296 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) for supply of power transmission conductors. As per PGCIL's requirements, supplies against these contracts would commence from August 2008, a release said.
With the receipt of these new contracts, the company has opened FY09 with a total order book of Rs 1020 crore for its telecom and power businesses.
