Pharma company Strides Arcolab today posted a net profit of Rs 105.51 crore for the year ended December 31.
The company had a net profit of Rs 6.13 crore in the same period in the previous year.
The company reported a total income of Rs 784.74 crore for the year ended December 31, while the same was Rs 661.91 crore for the same period last year, Strides Arcolab said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Consequent to the merger of some of its subsidiaries with itself, the current year figures are not comparable with that of previous year.
The company recommended a dividend of Rs 1.50 per share for the year ended December 31, 2009.
Shares of Strides Arcolab were trading at Rs 299.35 on the BSE, down 1.76 per cent from its previous close.
