Symantec launches global security lab in Pune

 The SRL's mission is to detect, protect and remediate. This  lab  addresses  urgent  security concerns by delivering early warning solutions that provide a thorough analysis of Internet security threats, evaluating  how  threats work together and then offering recommendations on protection.  

These capabilities further enhance Symantec's Global Intelligence Network to respond rapidly to complex security threats. The lab's analysis shows how multiple threats work together, how this could impact a customer, and how to protect against these threats.

Additionally, the lab provides rapid security protection through its incident response program, including emergency  antivirus  signatures, definitions, and policies, as well as outbound communications such as alerting services.
