Tata Coffee Q3 net up four-fold at Rs 12 cr
Tata Coffee today said its profit after tax for the third quarter ended December 31 grew four-fold at Rs 12.22 crore over the corresponding period a year ago.
The company had a profit after tax of Rs 3.02 crore in the December quarter last financial year, Tata Coffee said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Total income rose to Rs 67.13 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 73.39 crore a last year.
For the nine-month period ended December 31, 2008, the Tata group firm has registered a profit after tax of Rs 23.73 crore against Rs 7.37 crore a year ago.
Tata Coffee today settled the day at Rs 157.50, up 1.94 per cent on the BSE.
