Unitech plans to launch a new brand, Uni Homes, for affordable housing projects. These projects will be priced at Rs 10-30 lakh, a company official said. The first project under the brand will be in Chennai, followed by Manesar in the National Capital Region.
Apartment sizes would start from 660 sq ft. In the affordable category, Unitech launched 9 million sq ft of projects, valued around Rs 3,500 crore, between April and May 2009, and sold around 3.5 million sq ft or 3,000 units.
