Usha Communications bags $2 million contract

UshaComm would provide convergent solution for prepaid and postpaid internet subscribers of Nepal Telecom. UshaComm will also provide software licenses as well as undertaking all associated professional services including data migration, implementation, and integration of multiple third party systems.

The various technologies that Nepal Telecom has as its line of businesses are wireline, GSM, CDMA, internet dial up, and ADSL.

Speaking at a pressconference, Saugata Banerjee, executive director, UshaComm, said, "We are planning to launch more products and enhanced products going forward. We are also looking for acquisitions for CRM, telecom businesses worldwide".

Currently, UshaComm's solutions have been deployed in over 45 installations worldwide.
Its solutions cater to wireless technologies like GSM, GPRS, CDMA, 3G, while serving all the wireline technologies such as PSTN, ADSL, cable, internet dial-up, etc.
