Viom Networks appoints Sudhir Prasad as COO

Telecom infrastructure firm Viom Networks today said it has appointed Sudhir Prasad as Chief Operating Officer of the company.

It has also roped in Ravi Badwal as the Head of Emerging Business, while Rochak Kapur will head the Integrated Data Solutions team, Viom Networks said in a statement.

Prasad and Badwal will report to company CEO Syed Safawi, it added.

"From asset growth, we had entered a phase of asset based management and the next stage will be about knowledge management. Our three-pronged strategy aims at becoming an innovative telecom infrastructure solutions provider that sets benchmarks in operational excellence and becomes the industry leader in profitability," Safawi said.

Prasad has over 20 years of experience and was serving as the CEO of Tower Vision prior to joining Viom Networks. He has also been associated with Siemens AG, RPG Group and Jaiprakash Industries, the statement said.
