Heat wave conditions prevail in south UP, rains in east UP

The weather department has predicted, weather would be mainly dry over western regions UP

Heat wave conditions prevailed over southern Uttar Pradesh even as moderate to heavy rains and thundershowers occurred at isolated places over eastern part of the state.

According to the MeT department, chief amount of rainfall was recorded in Chandauli and Gazipur - 4 cms each, Zamania, Lalganj, Mohamdabad (Gohna) 3 cms each, Deoria 2, Jaunpur, Akbarpur and Gazipur 1 cms each.

The weather department has predicted rains/thundershowers at isolated places over east UP while weather would be mainly dry over western regions of the state.
